The Girl’s Loft was started by a Mom and her girls. We want to share our love for the paper-crafting world with girls like us, crazy about paper, ribbon, and of course all embellishments!

I started my Scrapbooking career in 2000 at a little scrapbook store in Mesa, Arizona, Scrabooks Etc. You may have heard of it’s owners, Doug & Marti Jones. I loved working there and teaching my class Card Crazy! While working for Doug & Marti I had the opportunity to be a contributing artist for 2 Bazzill books Bazzill Color and Eclectic!

In 2003 I started working for Deluxe Designs where I taught all over the country, was a contributing artist for the book Card Crazy and designed my first paper line, Margie’s House.

In 2004 our family moved to Utah, where I grew up. I went to work for Making Memories as a product designer and as Style Director. I loved my time there and loved the people I worked with. At Making Memories I was blessed to do what I loved, design fun product and teach. I have taught all over the world, met amazing scrapbooking girls who, just like me, have a passion for scrapbooking, card making and all types of paper crafting! After 5 years at Making Memories it’s time for me to do what I love...Share my passion with others! That is what I hope to do with The Girl’s Loft.

Megan starting crafting at a very young age by her Mother’s side. Playing with paper, glue and “stuff” Megan has been the backbone of her Mother’s teaching, ordering product, kitting classes and making sure her Mom got to the right event with the right stuff! Megan’s style is eclectic, her favorite things to create are altered projects.

Our goal at The Girl’s Loft is to share our passion for things that are beautiful to create with. Whether it is an altered project, traditional scrapbook page, mini book or home decor, we LOVE creating. We hope that we can provide a place for girls like us to find beautifully designed kits, inspiration, new ideas and a place to be simply one of the girls!
